The wait is almost over – at 5pm today, the wraps will be taken off the Playground Weekender 2009 line-up. FasterLouder exclusively revealed The Streets as the first headliner last month, and there’s a dazzling mix of international and local talent still to come.
Held at Del Rio Riverside Resort in Wiseman’s Ferry (a short drive from Sydney), the three-day festival has a fiercely dedicated following. 2008’s instalment claimed the crown for – œBest Crowd/Atmosphere’ in the inaugural punter-voted Festival Awards – ironclad proof of its unique charms.
