Cribs no longer coming to Oz

British cult favourites The Cribs originally planned to come to Australia this New Year period for Falls Festival, Southbound and two sideshows with Franz Ferdinand. However, the band has decided to cancel their Australian appearances to focus on recording their fourth album. The indie greats plan to come here later in 2009 with a new four-person line-up, so watch this space.
Franz Ferdinand will now appear with Red Riders and a replacement band for their shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
