Hailing from the creatively fertile climes of Norway, 23-year-old tearaway Ida Maria is bringing her rowdy live show to our shores. FasterLouder is mighty pleased to be coming along for the ride too.

The singer burrowed her way into heads with unshakeable single I Like You So Much Better When You’re Naked, lifted from debut album Fortress Round My Heart. Doing punk with a pop bent (or the other way round?), Ida Maria is most at home in front of a crowd.

In the tour spiel, she raves, “”Being on stage feels natural to me in the way nothing else does. I want to live the music with my whole body. Playing live should be hard, physical work, like being a fisherman or a carpenter.” We imagine she’s a bit more fun to watch than a carpenter, though.
