On Saturday 8 November, Bernard Fanning and other leading Australian performers will band together in support of the second annual Bernard Fanning Youngcare Benefit Concert held in Brisbane to help raise funds for young people with high-care needs.
The line up includes Fanning, country music legend Kasey Chambers , emerging rock act Whitley and a surprise guest performer at Brisbane’s Tivoli theatre.
Music is about a celebration of life and what it means to be young and Fanning, who is the co-host of this year’s event, said he has backed Youngcare from the start because it’s a cause close to his heart.
“I would not want to live in aged care before my time if I became in need of high care, so why should others have to? If my music can raise awareness and money for Youngcare to deliver quality care, then that’s great,” Fanning said.
Tickets are available through Ticketek, and if you can’t make it to the show, stay tuned to FasterLouder for our review of this very special night.
