FL's guitar smash in pictures!

To get in the mood for The Vines’ current circuit of the country, FL gave one lucky rock-god-in-waiting the chance to smash up a guitar, Craig Nicholls style. Sydney lad Tim Cooper won the honour – and he took to the job like a true professional.

Meanwhile, The Vines have knocked over two shows on their Melodia tour, with Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Perth still in their sights. The sold-out Melbourne show got a resounding thumbs up from our reviewer, although we’re slightly concerned the frontman saved “his prized white electric guitar”. Maybe Tim Cooper should give him a refresher course in smashing shit up?
