To get us all in the mood for Pink Flamingo cocktails and Hare Krishna, Aunty Meredith has announced a bundle of new artists who will be making the 18th Annual Meredith Music Festival just that much more special.

The latest recruitment’s include the soulful and oh-so-sexy Dan Sultan who is sure to have us all giggling and swooning at sunset and Brissie’s big-muff-fuzzing buzz-boys Violent Soho who have been given the honourary opening slot.

Dropping in from France to ensure we are not passed out in our tents at 5am is the most awesome Pilooski who will be tag-teaming with T-Rek to keep us dancing into the wee hours.

What is a festival without Kram you ask? Quite frankly I don’t want to know – so he will be helping out the Harre’s and also showing off some of his brand new material sans the Bait. Ash Naylor and his boys Even will also be challenging us all on the Sunday of hell with their return to the Supernatural Amphitheatre ( the first time in ten years we hear).

The Scientisits of Modern Music and Mountains In The Sky will also be appearing whilst the voice behind the naked bodies – Angus Sampson will be back as MC of The Gift. The new additions will be joining the likes of MGMT, Holy Fuck, The Bronx and The Mountain Goats who will be ensuring that Meredith turns eighteen in style.

Sadly if you don’t’ have a ticket Meredith is all sold out. But I do, so there.
