As we hit the home stretch of October and daylight savings once again blesses us with an extra hour of daylight to play with, there is no way to avoid it any longer; we are almost at the end of another year… but bugger xmas shopping, it’s time to start thinking about where you’re going to be to welcome in 2009.
Love Like Violence 2007 was one of the most talked about local indie rock/punk gigs of the year and it will be returning to the Hydey again this New Years Eve, courtesy of the local indie rock fiends at Rockus.
This year’s Love Like Violence co-headliners Schvendes and Eleventh He Reaches London have been making a hell of a lot of noise all year, but they are planning to break more than glasses when they welcome in the next new year. Helping you cement your resolutions, forget 2008, and defy 2009 to bring it, will be The Devil Rides Out, Project Mayhem, The Scotch of Saint James, Hooper’s Store, Pond, Genghis and These Shipwrecks. Over two stages, they’ll be making sure your 2009 starts off the way the rest of your year should be… rocking!
Tickets are cheap and on sale Thursday.
