Open Arms Festival hits Coffs
Fri 17th Oct, 2008 in Local News
Coffs Harbour doesn’t see a whole lot of action on the festival front, but all that’s set to change next month with the star-studded Open Arms Festival. On 29 November, the cream of Australia’s rock crop will gather in the coastal NSW town for a day of sun-drenched live music.
Heading the bill are two of the hardest working bands of the last 12 months (and beyond): Grinspoon and Gyroscope. Both have watertight reputations for rollicking live shows, so the main stage is in safe hands. Also set to whip the all-ages crowd into a frenzy are Blue King Brown, TZU, Mammal, Dead Letter Circus, Young & Restless and Drapht. Over on the Dance Stage, Whitt from Spiderbait will DJ alongside a solid line-up of local talent.
It’ll only set you back a breezy 60 bucks, so head along to the Open Arms Festival website for ticket outlet details.
