This summer, dirty blues revisionists The Black Keys are road-tripping around Australia with Gomez and Dr Dog. The stars have aligned for this rollicking triple-bill, with each of the bands out here for New Years Eve festivals. And what a line-up it is.

The Black Keys were last here in June, when they left sold-out venues reeling from a heavy dose of rock ‘n roll. Gomez, too, are no strangers to our shores, having visited us eight times. With a live show like theirs, they are always welcome.

Rounding out the stellar touring party is Philidelphia five-piece Dr Dog, who delivered one of FasterLouder’s favourite albums of 2008 so far, Fate. We can’t wait to see what they bring to the stage.

Some cities don’t get all three headliners, but they won’t be left wanting…

The Black Keys hit the road in summer, with a little help from their friends in high places. Tickets are on sale now.
