Cocktoberfest returns toGreenroom this Saturday

This Saturday Greenroom brings Cocktoberfest back to the capital once again for some Spring action. The all day and night event includes the creme de la creme of Canberra bands including, Moh Van Wah, Using Three Words, Escape Syndrome, Tonk, The Magic Hands and DJ Pornstylus.

Cocktoberfest, started in 2006 initially for Cock Rock bands during Octoberfest. Now it’s 3rd year, sees a wide variety of acts across two stages. In fact 24 local and interstate acts are all performing in the name of raising funds for prostate cancer.

Tickets are $20 with doors 12 pm – 2 am, and 2-4-1 Jagerbombs + $1 beers till 1 pm.

As you may have heard by now, Greenroom will be closing the doors and clearing the stage for the final time on 1 November, so don’t miss out on one of your last chances to enjoy the sound, feel and smell of Canberra’s ultimate rock venue.

A message from Greenroom

Saturday 1st November will be the last show at Phillip for the Greenroom. With issues beyond our control, the Greenroom is forced to close for good. No other plans or solutions have come about as yet for a suitable venue elsewhere. The Greenroom has operated for nearly 6 years, has hosted well over 1000 bands in its operation with many of them hitting the big time. We thank all our patrons, participating bands, crew, staff & supporting local venues for making the 6 years a highlight our life.
