SONIC SESSIONS RETURNS TO FREMANTLE ARTS CENTRE

In 2007 Sonic Sessions revolutionised the concept of a live music event in WA, and it will return to Fremantle Arts Centre with some of Australia’s best songwriters to talk, sing and laugh you through their legendary musical archives.

Hosted by Lucky Oceans, Sonic Sessions guests will be Kim Salmon, Jeff Lang, Don Walker, Hank Marvin and rising star Abbe May.

Sonic Sessions offers a rare opportunity to enter the mind of some of the greatest songwriters Australia and the world have known, hear the tales behind the tunes, and travel through more than a couple of decades of musical evolution.

“Sonic Sessions is a once-only chance to get up close with Lucky to some of the greats and find out what makes them tick,” Director of Fremantle Arts Centre, Jim Cathcart said. “Sonic Sessions is like sitting round a kitchen table for a good old chat and jam in a mix of conversation, ideas and fantastic music making.”
