Think you’re pretty good on the axe? We’ll, here’s the ultimate Guitar Hero challenge for you – if you’re one of the lucky rockers heading along to the Def Leppard/Cheap Trick rock-marathon at Members Equity Stadium on Friday, October 31, Sunset Events is giving you the chance to battle the giants in the Guitar Hero III XBox 360 showdown of a lifetime.

Head down to the pre-show party at the Halloween Bar (on Loton Park, right outside gate 4 at MES) for your chance to battle it out on Guitar Hero III and enjoy some refreshments before the big show. Five players will be selected from the crowd to battle the five combatants selected through 96FM. The overall winner will take home $500 as well as head back stage with a guest to battle Def Leppard themselves in the ultimate Guitar Hero showdown. Beat the band and you’ll get another $500.

Come and enjoy the pre-show festivities at the Halloween Bar and you too could be heading back stage to meet the band. In the spirit of all things spooky, come dressed in your best Halloween outfit to win the chance for you and a guest to head backstage to meet the members of Def Leppard in an exclusive meet and greet. Three lucky winners will be chosen from the crowd.

The Halloween Bar opens at 2pm, so get in early to ensure your spot in the Guitar Hero challenge and enjoy a tasty bevvy before the main event.
