19th National Campus Band Competition 2008 WA State Final is on Saturday 4th October at the Hyde Park Hotel, North Perth.
The NCBC, the largest live band competition in the southern hemisphere, has been running on Australian University and TAFE campuses across the country for 19 years. The competition showcases up-and-coming bands to wider audiences and has helped launch the careers of acts such as Eskimo Joe, the Vasco Era and Jebediah.
The 2008 NCBC will see bands vying for various finalist prizes, including the honour of being in the 19th national final in Canberra on 23rd October to compete for $3000 from AACA and a National Tour Package from FasterLouder worth over $8,000 and more.
