Spend the Night Outside withThe Gin Club
Sun 21st Sep, 2008 in Local News
Still riding high from their Q Song achievements, Brisbane band The Gin Club will headline Nights Outside on 27 September, together with Tim Steward Band and James Grehan.
Since the release of their third album Junk earlier this year, The Gin Club have been flat out, travelling to the USA, performing at Splendour in the Grass and the Gympie Muster and even making some time to record a few new demos.
Now you can catch them in the Cascade Court, QPAC, before they head off on tour in October and November with The Drones.
Acclaimed singer song-writer and Q Song winner James Grehan will kick off the evening with his folk rock, alternative originals and no doubt a few tracks from his yet to be released second album Space Between the Silence.
Grehan will be followed by Brisbane local Tim Steward and band, known for their energetic and visually exciting performances, where band members trade instruments freely on stage whilst creating their indie, acoustic and experimental sound.
Future Nights Outside events will feature The Boat People, Bobby Flynn and more.
Don’t miss this awesome opportunity to see three of Brisbane’s best songwriters doing what they do best. And, of course, stay tuned to FasterLouder for full coverage.
