Pastel popsters Mystery Jets will play their first-ever Australian shows at the Falls and Southbound Festivals this summer, and they’ll be sticking around for two special sideshows.
With an unabashed allegiance to the ‘80s, the four-piece released its sophomore album Twenty One earlier this year to much cooing. “There’s nothing to feel bad about writing four-chord songs,” frontman Blaine Harrison told FasterLouder back in July, and who are we to argue? With a reputation for slick live shows, Mystery Jets should have no trouble winning Australia over in January.
Don your favourite baby blue jacket and get along to these Mystery Jets shows. Tickets on sale Monday 22 September.
Thursday 1 Jan – The Hi Fi, Melbourne
Sunday 4 Jan – The Metro Theatre, Sydney
