Friday night at Rocket Room sees Foghorn Records launch the 2nd in their series of “Grow Your Own” compilation CD’s. Featured artists Stella’s Kitchen will be serving up riffs so chunky you could carve ‘em. Side serves of synths, guitars and stripped back electro beats come courtesy of Trash Madonna before Project Mayhem promise punk rock armageddon sans shirts, and The Sure Fire Midnights deliver a rock solid set tighter than their jeans.
Presented by Fasterlouder, Late Night Live continues to prove it’s the one stop 5 buck shop for post midnight original live music punters and Perthonalities alike. This week we have Melbourne’s exhilarating and exhausting Children Collide Blunt Magazine said this:
“Children Collide sound like they’re only ever one beat away from skulling a jug and having a panic attack, punching you in the face and/or making crazy love to you. They have the energy of the Pixies and the swagger of Sonic Youth”
If you want to score a free ticket to the gig, head over to the Late Night Live Page and leave a comment asking for free stuff, and we’ll be in touch soon.
Of course the night doesn’t end there, cult cat Tomas Ford’s MC anarchy keeps the car crash curiosity coming while DJ Robbie smashes your windscreen with bare fists to deliver the kiss of life your bleeding ears will need.
