Highly acclaimed and touted as one of the most influential Australian group of all time, Radio Birdman return to stages in NSW and Queensland in January.
The band have been busy writing and rehearsing throughout the year for their follow-up album, Living Eyes, which was released in 1981, as well as playing their one and only show at the Azkena Festival (along with New York Dolls, Urge Overkill, DKT/MC5, Mark Lanegan, The Flamin’ Groovies, Violent Femmes, Turbo Negro, Backyard Babies and more) recently in Spain.
With the recent departure of drummer Ron Keeley, whose replacement has been ably filled by Nik Reith (having played with New Christs and Deniz Tek’s band) and Tek’s re-location to Byron Bay, all six members are now based in Australia. Catching them on this tour and no doubt, you’ll be hearing new and the much loved old material!
Tickets for all shows on sale Friday December 17th.
