When tickets for MGMT’s first ever Australian tour sold out in a matter of minutes, many of the band’s Sydney and Melbourne fans who missed out were quietly (or not so quietly as the case may be!) hoping they’d announce some further shows.
However, after one look at their national tour dates it didn’t take a genius to work out they had back-to-back shows around the country, so the chances of second concerts weren’t very likely. Now, due to the unprecedented demand, it’s been announced MGMT will move to larger venues in Sydney and Melbourne to accommodate.
MGMT new venues:
Sydney – Hordern Pavilion
Melbourne – Festival Hall
All tickets purchased for the original venues will be valid at the new location. If you’re hoping to grab yourself one of the new tickets available, they go onsale at 9am, Friday September 5th.
