Muscle Car Burn On Back IntoTown
Mon 6th Dec, 2004 in Local News
Are your Friday nights lacking something? Is there less than the full quota of high-octane rock flowing through your injection system? If that’s the case, then never fear – you’ll be able to become a musical fireball once more on Saturday, December 11, when Sydney’s Cat & Fiddle hotel plays host to three very special bands, including Adelaide’s Muscle Car.
The band most recently were in Sydney for their Hell Yeah, Let’s Rock! national tour, and now return to celebrate the fact that they’ve got their motor running, recordingwise. With them, they’ll have a brand new CD EP called Baby, Come On!, which should give punters a taste of the sort of chrome-plated, leopard-skinned sexrock that’ll feature on their full-length debut, due early next year.
Helping them do doughnuts around your musical sensibilities will be Hell Crab City, who’ve been busy writing new material, and letting pesky injured limbs (thanks to the Brisbane Rock ‘n’ Roll festival) recover from all manner of music-based ruination. They’ll be testing just-healed bits and pieces in a drag of death that’ll test your endurance for loud, nasty, high-voltage rock.
High Stakes round out the starting grid for this musical Mount Panorama. Once from SA but now hunkered down in a Sydney garage/chop shop, they’re ready to reunite with old mates Muscle Car and to give Hell Crab City a run for their money.
The engines start revving at 8pm. BE THERE!
