Everyone’s favourite taboo breaker Peaches is bringing her seductive live show to Australia for Parklife, and she’s been kind enough to pencil in some time on the side. The cruel mistress of electro-punk will play sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney, backed by her Berlin-based band Sweet Machine.
We last got a bite of Peaches on the 2007 Big Day Out tour, when Impeach My Bush was still fresh in our (dirty) minds. A new album is on its way, making this October visit a prime testing ground for the next batch of indecent anthems. Peaches will be supported at her sideshows by San Francisco pop-defilers Hawnay Troof and Ben Ely’s Radio 5. Expect tickets to move swiftly.
