Kickstart is a national band search competition run by MTV open to all bands who don’t have major label recording deal.
The Adelaide heat will see The Keepsakes, The Battery Kids, Skye Harbour, Zeta and The Touch battling it out.
Each band gets two songs to try and impress a team of industry judges.
The Adelaide heat takes place on Friday August 22 at Rocket Bar from 7:30pm. Entry is free.
