Star collaborator Mark Ronson is set to make his virgin voyage down under this summer, backed by his 10-piece big band.

The Englishman has been busy wowing the European festival circuit with his funk reworks of the Kasier Chiefs, The Charlatans, Radiohead and The Zutons. He’s the man the big names want to work with, as evidenced by the guest-list on his 2007 record Version. While it’s unlikely Amy Winehouse or Lily Allen will be making a surprise appearance on the Australian tour, you can still expect a dazzling live show.

Ronson and his Version Players are headlining the imported Global Gathering festival in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Brisbane between 22 and 30 November. They share top billing with German electronica overlords Kraftwerk and ambient outfit The Orb. Keep those fingers crossed for Mark Ronson sideshows!
