Timbaland a no-show

The comedy of errors that is the Timbaland tour has culminated with the wholly-unsurprising news that the man will not be paying us a visit, and perhaps never genuinely planned to. The fact that he was scheduled to play in Melbourne and Poland on the same day certainly didn’t bode well.

The Showtime Touring Group cites “lack of contact from Timbaland and his management” as the final straw. Apparently “he looks forward to performing for his Australian fans in the near future.” On the upside, the hefty price tag didn’t seem to be attached to a very promising show. Despite his reputation as a star collaborator, Timbaland was set to be guest-less at his Australian dates.

20 – Perth, Challenge Stadium
