We were all devastated when The Great Escape announced its cancellation this week, however, a silver lining has emerged – the most awesome Black Francis is doing a Sydney sideshow.

FasterLouder recently had a chat to the great man himself who revealed he was pretty darn excited to be heading back to Australia so soon after being here with The Pixies in 2007.

The show will be capping off his tour on Friday 3rd October at The Metro. You’d be a fool to miss this show and FL pities the fool.
