Although deep in the belly of winter, the fires of progress are steaming up
the windows of the Southbound office. While we are still bathing in the
warm glow of Southbound 2008, their sights are firmly fixed on the
impending summer and Southbound 2009.
They have been busy locking in some of the greatest musicians in the universe… and making their website pretty as well.
Next year’s Southbound will be a two day event, with camping on both nights, so they can fit more music in. This means that a limited number of non-campers with Saturday tickets will be able to get in on the exclusive Friday night entertainment
Most importantly, come this Monday, August 11, they’ll be inviting music fans to update their subscriber info and register in the Pre-sale ticket ballot, so they’ll be able to get their Southbound tickets long before everyone else.
Most of the tickets to Southbound 2009 will be allocated to
subscribers who enter this year’s ballot, and since the last two years have sold out way before the event, register if you don’t want to risk missing out.
