As well as all the great films at the Melbourne International Film Festival (see HERE ) there’s also a great line up of live shows in the festival club at the Forum Theatre.

Guy Blackman and Sly Hats take to the stage on the 26th of July followed by a set of mod, northern soul and 60s beat tunes spun by visiting French director Serge Bozon.

Following the screening of the Bob Marley doco on the 30th of July Nicky Bomba hosting an after party at the club playing, well, what else but selection of reggae, ska and dub.

Route 66 presents – œLet’s Have a Party’ featuring country singer Nici Blue Eyes after the Wanda Jackson doco on the 31st of July and the after party for the doco about Stax Records boasts DJ Mohair Slim spinning soul classics.

The dark tunes of Nathan Hollywood grace the stage on the 1st and 10th of August, while local gals Piklet and Jessica Says take their turns on the 8th and 9th respectively.
