Harmonic pop three-piece The Basics are taking up some East Coast residencies this winter, as an entrée to a more extensive circuit later in the year.
To remind y’all of their humble (and prodigious) beginnings, the band is re-issuing its debut album, Get Back, on 2 August. Get Back was made in true DIY style – put together in six days, mastered in three hours, and committed to only 1000 units. Now – with its creators enjoying the recognition they deserve – the LP is having another chance to shine, in re-mastered and re-packaged form. Re-acquaint yourself with all the Basics standards when the dapper lads do their ‘Month of Augusts’.
