FasterLouder are clapping our hands, stamping our feet and shaking it all about in joy, at the news that the godfather of grunge, Black Francis ( aka Frank Black) will be doing sideshows whilst he is down under for The Great Escape.
Frontman of The Pixies – who left audiences shaking when they reformed in 06 and headlined the V Festival for their first shows EVER in Australia – Black Francis has released his most seminal albums to date in the last two years. If you haven’t heard the goodness of 2007’s Bluefinger or it’s follow up Svn Fingers then hurry the hell up and get a-listening because he will be performing tracks from both of them while he is here.
