Heading into the heart of winter, Valley Fiesta once again brings the finest musicians, performers and DJs to the Valley Entertainment Precinct from September 12-14.

The FREE weekend already encapsulates the finest of Australian acts, but now even more acts have been added, including a raft of national and local bands of the highest caliber, as well as performance artists, DJs and drag shows.

Joining the already huge lineup of bands to appear on the various stages throughout the Fortitude Valley malls will be End Of Fashion, John Steel Singers, Abby May, The Boat People, Ups & Downs, Gentle Ben And His Sensitive Side, Jackie Marshall & The Black Alles Band, The Cairos, Ten Fours, Sauruz Quartet, Hot Mambo, Miguel, Doch, The Re-mains, Washington (featuring Megan Washington and members of The Cat Empire), Danger Bunnies, Del Toro and At Sea.

Valley Fiesta will also be welcoming some of the finest DJs in Brisbane and Australia to the wheels of steel, with Ajax, Christian Moy, Paul Ison, DJ AK47, Alastair Green, DJ Danny (Empire), Jump Day Project, Act Yo Age, DJ Pete Smith (Met Bar), Teenage Bad Girl and Tydi (Family).

There’s something for everyone with performances from Contact Crew, Flipside Circus, Polynesian dance, krumping dislplays, a circus workshop phoenix fire hula hoops girls and art installations from Room 40.

And of course it just wouldn’t be the Fiesta without a little bit of drag – this year will see performances from Hot Gloss, Velvet Dolls and Velvet Motion.

This massive list of acts joins the already huge line up of Operator Please, Sparkadia, Urthboy, DJ Dexter (Avalanches), Jeff Lang, Bluejuice, Katy Steele (Little Birdy), Avalon Drive, Winnie Coopers, The Gin Club and Texas Tea.

So don’t miss the Valley Fiesta, hitting the malls of Fortitude Valley on September 12-14, and stay tuned to FasterLouder for further announcements and coverage of this mammoth festival.
