An astute songwriter and fine multi-instrumentalist, Xavier Rudd has an intensity that belies his surfer-dude looks. The man releases his new album, Dark Shades Of Blue, next week, and it’s said to be quite a departure from his previous output. In October/November, we’ll get to experience the songs first-hand as Rudd tours his much-praised live show around the country.
