The singer-songwriter you’d bring home to meet Mum, Mr Josh Pyke, is ushering in his new single The Lighthouse Song with a run of shows across September. It’s the first taste of his forthcoming album, Chimney’s Afire, which is sure to seduce fans of his ARIA-guzzling Memories & Dust. The press notes promise a “slightly darker” outing this time round – something you can cross-check for yourself when Pyke saunters into your town. Warming the stage on all dates are support sure-things Firekites.
Chimney’s Afire is out early October on Ivy League Records. ’The Lighthouse Tour’ visits the following venues in September. Tickets are on sale now.
Thursday 11 September – Metro Theatre, Sydney
Friday 12 September – The Zoo, Brisbane
Thursday 18 September – Prince Of Wales, Melbourne
Friday 19 September – Governor Hindmarsh, Adelaide
