Put Cog, Kisschasy, Mammal, Dead Letter Circus, After The Fall and plenty more heavy-hitters together in a room and you have quite a party. On Sunday 21 September, the inaugural Badlands is bringing that very line-up to Manning Bar for Sydney’s punk, rock and metal followers.

Having recently completed a triumphant tour of Australia, home crowd favourites Cog are more than equipped to headline the dual-stage event. As well as the aforementioned names, the star-studded cast also includes Trial Kennedy, The Hot Lies, Hell City Glamours, MM9, Horsell Common, Laura, Fifty Sixx, Violent Soho, Sleep Parade and Regular John. Expect an unrelenting eight hours, with the organisers promising “smashed guitars, stage invasions and raining plastic bottles and cups”.
