Wolfmother, one of the most-hyped new bands of 2004, are set to cement their live reputation with a number of high-profile shows over the next couple of months.

Straight from a series of UK dates that saw them play shows with Black Wire and The Black Keys, amongst others, the band plan to dazzle punters with a combination of small-scale gigs and festival blowouts. They’ll play Tasmania for the first time ever, and have just announced that they’ve landed a spot on the Big Day Out bill – for every single stop of the tour!

It seems that the band’s star can only continue to rise, and their reputation as one of Australia’s most formidable live acts can only benefit.
