Bona-fide pros of the live circuit, The Living End are getting back to what they do best this September with a run of theatre shows. The band has recently returned from New York, where they’ve been finessing a new album, White Noise. It’s set for a 19 July release here through Dew Process/Universal, and fans will no doubt be itching to get their hands on it. From what FasterLouder has heard, we’re in for a real treat.

You can always count on The Living End for a sweaty, charged show. And that’s exactly what they delivered at the recent Triple J event in Melbourne’s Duckboard Place to a tightly-packed throng of devotees. The madness was filmed for a DVD, to be included in the limited edition release of White Noise. But a TV screen doesn’t do justice – don’t pass up your chance to see the boys the way nature intended this September. All shows are ably supported by Children Collide and The Silents, except Darwin.

The Living End ‘White Noise’ tour is stopping at the following venues. Tickets on sale 10 July.

Fri Sep 12 – Metro City, Perth WA

Sun Sep 14 – Discovery Nightclub, Darwin (with The Moving Targets and Children Collide)

Tue Sep 16 – Southport RSL, Gold Coast QLD

Wed Sep 17 – Power House, Toowoomba QLD

Thu Sep 18 – Caloundra RSL, Sunshine Coast QLD

Fri Sep 19 – The Arena, Brisbane QLD
