The Valley Fiesta has grown to become a regular highlight in the Brisbane concert calendar. Held over three days, it features a variety of acts from a wide range of genres, with multiple stage operating in Fortitude Valley’s Brunswick St mall and surrounds. Best of all, it’s completely free!
This year promises to be the biggest yet, with the first set of acts fresh from the presses. Operator Please are set to headline, and will be joined by Sparkadia, Urthboy, DJ Dexter (Avalanches), Jeff Lang, Bluejuice, Katy Steele (Little Birdy), Avalon Drive, Winnie Coopers, The Gin Club and Texas Tea. And of course, there’s heaps more still to come.
The Valley Fiesta 2008 will take place from September 12-14, and is supported by Brisbane City Council and the Valley Chamber of Commerce. September will also once again see QMusic’s Big Sound festival hit the Valley.
