Page Confirms Zeppelin WorldTour

Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones appeared on stage with the Foo Fighters at Wembley Stadium over the weekend, to play an historic encore to the 86 000 crowd, performing Monkey Wrench, Rock and Roll and Ramble On. Dave Grohl took a spell on drums, and Taylor Hawkins came out from behind the kit to try his pipes In an absent Robert Plant’s place for an epic rendition of Rock and Roll.
Grohl later tearily exclaimed to the crowd; “Welcome to the greatest day of my whole life”
Speaking to the UK’s Daily Telegraph in an interview after the Wembley Stadium gig, Page confirmed that the band is ready to do a world tour. At this stage the earliest the tour could be would be the second half of 2009 due to prior individual commitments of the band members.
