Coming hot on the heels of their stellar new album Narrow Stairs, Death Cab For Cutie will return to Australia this August.

As our recent interview with the band pointed out, Death Cab For Cutie is poised to become one of 2008’s biggest success stories. Narrow Stairs has become the Little Album That Could, debuting at #1 on the US Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. For an understated indie-rock outfit from Seattle, that’s no small achievement. Even more remarkable is the fact that Narrow Stairs hasn’t distilled or dumbed down the Death Cab For Cutie magic. By any standards, these guys are on a deserved dream run.
