A Birds of Tokyo Universe
Fri 23rd May, 2008 in Local News
Less than a year after their stunning full-length debut Day One, and having just sold out a national headline tour to coincide with their current single Silhouettic, Birds of Tokyo are ready to present their breathtaking sophomore album Universes.
Universes was independently recorded and produced in Australia by the band and mixed by Tim Palmer (U2, The Cure, Pearl Jam) in North Hollywood, giving the album an incredibly unique depth. The album is set for an independent release on July 5 with distribution through MGM.
The initial pressing of Universes will include a limited edition CD/DVD featuring behind the scenes recordings and making-of footage for the video clips of both Silhouettic and the soon to be released Broken Bones.
There is to be a second national headline tour later this year.
