Man-of-many-instruments Wons Phreehly has a busy month ahead of him, with a string of solo dates book-ended by support slots for Youth Group and Ben Lee.
The Perth boy has plenty of people talking at the moment. He has played alongside the likes of Ben Kweller, Ben Lee, Death Cab For Cutie and M. Ward, and often threatens to steal the stage. Phreehly’s unvarnished voice and whimsical songwriting ensures his Rules of Nature EP is a real grower. It’s no surprise then that he has been hand-picked to support both Youth Group and Ben Lee (who’s a fan). Phreehly is treating Sydney and Melbourne to a handful of solo shows in June as well.
