APRA nominees announced

It’s that time of year again, when Australian songwriters are recognised in the APRA Music Awards. So, who has written a decent ditty in the past year?
APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) has revealed its roll-call of nominees, with winners announced at the 16 June ceremony in Sydney. There are several categories of varying interest, but the biggie is – œSong Of The Year’. Peer-voted by APRA registered songwriters, it’s the ultimate “nice one, mate.” One nominee that might warrant a double-take is 1,2,3,4 from Canadian iPod peddler Feist.
