Looking to head out to a show this week. Well its another corker on the local scene. Whitley will be bringing his acoustic guitar and his soft sweet melodies to the ANU Bar on Tuesday night. Tickets are from Ticketek or at the door at about $21.00.

FasterLouder are bringing bluejuice and The Paper Scisors to the Transit Bar Friday night. Entry is free and if you rock up early you’ll catch local DJs mixing up some afterwork tunes.

Also on Friday night are Christine Anu and Deni Hines who are playing The Audotorium at the Erindale Vikings. It should be a great night of Australian music with tickets from the venue at $40.

Saturday night sees two Perth bands in town for Triple J’s Home and Hosed. Every Perth person assures me that Institut Polaire are well worth seeing and Cuthbert and the NIghtwalkers have also attracted their fair share of fans. This show is also at the Transit Bar so entry is free.

The final show of the week is The Conspiracy Plan from Wollongong. They’ll be playing alongside Canberran’s Zero Degrees and Falling at the Greenroom on Saturday night.

If you’re a fan of Ms Natalie Bathingswaite you’ll also have the chance to see the Rogue Traders at the ANU this Thursday night.
