Highly experimental and influential thrash/death/math/jazz-fusion metal quintet from Sweeden; Meshuggah will tour Australia for the first time in October. Described by Rolling Stone as “one of the ten most important hard and heavy bands” Meshuggah have lined up dates in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth.

It is impossible to talk about experimental or avant-garde metal without mentioning this truly groundbreaking act: Meshuggah mix ultra-complicated rhythmic patterns with massive riffs and aggressive growls, combining Death Metal, Mathcore, Thrash and Progressive Metal to create their unique style.

Their latest release, ObZen is a masterpiece of diversity and sonic extremes, but being their first tour of Australia, you can expect to hear plenty of favourites spanning their 9 year career as well.
