This week sees FasterLouder joining forces with what has quickly become one of Canberra’s favourite live music nights. FasterLouder and the Gangbusters crew are bringing Plastic Palace Alice to town to play Bar 32. As always entry is a fiver and your guaranteed* to have a good time. Also playing on Thursday night are Winnebego Deal who are out to tear up the Greenroom in Philip.

A late addition to the Thursday night roster are the John Steel Singers who’ve had a stellar run with air play on Triple J’s Aus Music show. They are joined by Cloud Control and entry as always is free.

Saturday night is another busy one locally, with The Panics, Trial Kennedy and Fred Smith playing around the town. Tickets for The Panics show at the ANU Refec on Saturday night are flying out the door, as they have not been seen in this neck of the woods since their J Award and release of Cruel Guards.

In contrast Trial Kennedy are regular visitors to Canberra but never disappoint crowds. They’ll be playing at the Greenroom Saturday night for a paltry $10 plus booking fee.

Finally Fred Williams will be playing Tilley’s on Saturday night. Most of the tickets for the show have sold out, but there will be a small number on the door that night. You’ll need to be there early to pick up the last of these very popular tickets.

Check back next week for pictures and the punters opinion on all these shows.
