Returned I Killed The Prom Queen singer Michael Crafter last night joined the Big Brother compound as a late-entry housemate, after receiving the most votes on the program’s website. Despite his acrimonious departure from the group in 2006, Crafter is re-joining his former bandmates for their Say Goodbye tour, which kicks off 22 May in Adelaide.
On his Big Brother profile, the frontman is described as “a ‘straight edge’ convert, which is a hardcore rock music movement that means no drinking and no drugs.” He’s also dubbed “something of an internet celebrity”, with over 10,000 MySpace friends. Despite campaigning to enter the house, he maintains, “I’m not going to be some famous TV idiot.”
Crafter’s entry into the house is sure to perplex some fans of the band, given he’s due to hit the road later this month. Will I Killed The Prom Queen be ‘Saying Goodbye’ to rehearsals too?
Check out the Big Brother profile for Crafter, complete with video interviews.
And here he is entering the house.
