With a debut album “almost ready”, hotly-tipped quartet Mercy Arms is set to play live every week in May at Sydney’s Club 77 and Melbourne’s Pogo. A rotating cast of special guests will join the headliner at each date, making for an essential run of shows.

In the lead-up to the release of the Mercy Arms LP, the band is rewarding the first 200 punters at each residency gig with a weekly offering of exclusive unreleased singles. This week you can get your hands on the first track off the mark, Always. To record their new material, Mercy Arms was joined in the studio by veteran producer Tony Cohen, whose past credits include The Bad Seeds, Birthday Party and Beasts of Bourbon. If the robust, forceful Always is anything to go by, this will be an album with no shortage of highlights.
