Arguably one of Australia’s favourite homegrown artists, Pete Murray is back with a new single, You Pick Me Up. It’s taken from his much-anticipated third album, Summer At Eureka, which he recorded and produced at his home studio in the Byron Bay hinterland.
Summer at Eureka follows on from Murray’s multi-platinum albums Feeler and See the Sun. Both reached #1 on the ARIA album charts and spawned massive radio-friendly singles including So Beautiful, Better Days and Opportunity.
According to music industry insiders, Murray’s new album has a sunny sound, which radiates with positive energy and reflects the atmosphere and environment in which it was recorded. He enlisted good mate and fellow musician Darren Middleton, of Powderfinger fame, to add a powerful guitar presence to four songs.
The upbeat and rocking You Pick Me Up can be downloaded via iTunes now. Summer at Eureka will be in stores from April 14.
