Rumors be gone. Riot! Entertainment has just announced the official tour dates for The Dillinger Escape Plan ’s Australian Tour, which kicks off in May, six months after their innovative new release Ire Works.

Sometimes referred to as “the Radiohead of metalcore,” DEP have continued to expand their musical boundaries, adding experimental electronic elements to technical metal, post-punk, jazz, and, of course, hardcore.

If this brief tour is anything like the past, fireworks, stage-diving, fire breathing, and special effects will rain down on crowds starting in Perth on May 13 and ending in Brisbane on the 19.
