Following two inspired EPs, West Australian quartet The Silents has consolidated its one-to-watch status with debut album Things To Learn. FasterLouder is stoked to have secured the full 12-track LP for an exclusive stream ahead of its March 29 release!

With its brooding take on garage rock, Things To Learn has been a prolonged work in progress. The Silents’ 2007 EP 23 spawned the triple j-favoured singles Nightcrawl and 23, but the full-length format has allowed the band to extend its scope.

“This is our beginning,” muses songwriter Lloyd Stowe in the album’s press notes. “Acknowledging the loss of our younger selves and the fading of anything innocent and child-like. This album captures time for us in song.”
