As if the abundant awesomeness of a Jesus & Mary Chain tour wasn’t enough to make your credit card sing, the band’s V Festival sideshows now come with added attractions. Fellow festival headliners The Rakes will warm the stage, alongside local hot property Ghostwood.

Hailing from London, The Rakes know their way around a support slot, having joined Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party and Maximo Park on their respective tours. With the talent to match the – œIt’ band status, they crafted a tight little album in Ten Little Messages, and are said to be a rollicking presence live. Likewise, Ghostwood are generating quite a buzz as an outfit of tender years but advanced finesse.

Ghostwood and The Rakes join The Jesus & Mary Chain on all their sideshow dates. Tickets are on sale now, so hop to it.
