In Fiction plot national tour

Adelaide melodic rockers In Fiction burst onto the Australian music scene last March with the release of their Ghost EP, containing the well recognised and extremely catchy single – œIf You’re Up Late’. Long heralded as “Adelaide’s best kept secret”, the band finally clued in the rest of the nation with extensive national tours in support of The Matches, Kisschasy, Behind Crimson Eyes and The Getaway Plan.

In December 2007, In Fiction settled down to record with long-time friend and producer Darren Thompson. The result is Forecast, a 12-track rock/pop masterpiece and the band’s debut full-length. The album will be released on June 7 through Boomtown Records, with the lead single – œLiar Liar’ to hit radio airwaves later this month. – œLiar Liar’ is a return to the sweet melodies and anthemic choruses that made Ghost a fan favourite, the band giving a hint of the epic direction of their forthcoming album.

Boomtown Records will release a limited edition version of – œLiar Liar’ on April 12, featuring two rare B-Sides tracks. Copies will be available in selected stores, clubs and at In Fiction live shows, as well as via KillYourStereo.com for a very limited time.

To celebrate the release of – œLiar Liar’, In Fiction will head out on their first national headline tour – taking in East Coast capitals and regional centres. They bring with them Melbourne’s Stealing O’Neal. In Fiction’s – œLiar Liar’ single is available for pre-order now via KillYourStereo.com.

Forecast will be released through Boomtown Records on June 7.
